The song "How to love", by the artist Lil Wayne, is interesting in that it is the first time fans hear him sing the lyrics to the song as opposed to actually rapping them. Although I am not one of Lil Wayne's biggest fans,  do know his story and I can appreciate what he has done for music in general. In his music video Lil Wayne uses strong imagery about a woman who has faced strife throughout her entire life, starting out with her running from an abortion clinic and having the child and dealing with an abusive partner, to scenes of her daughter in a strip club dancing and later giving herself into prostitution. These images are extremely persuasive in that it shows the domino effect of one unfortunate event to the next, specifically in the area of love. By using graphic and detailed imagery we see how important it is to choose what we do in this life wisely, because it could be gone before you know it. Finally, what makes an image more or less effective in persuading others is the simply the context and situation it was used in. In "How to love", the images are used effectively because they are seen as consequences of the woman's inability to find someone who will treat her right, thus affecting her daughter who ends up receiving HIV from being in prostitution.
